Vertical Transportation

The Vertical Transportation sector refers to the industry that is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and ramps. In Colombia, it has an estimated size of $2 billion USD, which represents around 0.2% of the GDP and is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 5% over the next five years.

Currently, it generates around 10,000 direct jobs in Colombia and is seeing an increase in demand for high-efficiency elevators and escalators, as well as constantly seeking to improve the safety and accessibility of vertical transportation systems.

• From 2019 to 2020, we accompanied more than 365 members of Estilo Ingeniería in their Cultural Transformation Process in Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama.
